About Minds Matter Clinic

Minds Matter Clinic was founded in 2022 with a simple but urgent mission: to bring hope and timely support to those who have waited for years to be assessed or treated.

Our Story

Across the UK, thousands of children, young people, and adults were facing record waiting times for ADHD, autism, and general psychiatric services—often feeling invisible in the system.

We set out to change that.

From the very beginning, our focus has been to provide immediate, person-centred relief while also working in partnership with the NHS to create long-term solutions. By securing places on national commissioning frameworks such as the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS), we have been able to work alongside Trusts, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and primary care teams—expanding access to vital assessments and treatment at scale.

What started as a response to a crisis has grown into a service built on compassion, collaboration, and commitment to every individual we see.

Our Commitment to You

Person-First, Not Condition-First

We see people, not labels. Every individual who walks through our doors is treated with dignity, empathy, and respect. Our approach focuses on strengths, experiences, and aspirations—not just diagnoses.

A Human Response to a Systemic Problem

Born out of frustration with long NHS waiting lists, we exist to provide relief where the system cannot. Our work complements the NHS, ensuring people don’t get lost in the gap between need and access.

Trusted and Regulated

We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and follow NICE guidelines. Our standards of safety, transparency, and clinical integrity underpin every assessment and treatment we provide.

National Reach, Local Heart

From our base in Nottingham, we support people across the UK—through both in-person and secure online consultations—making care accessible to families and individuals wherever they are.

Driving Change Through NHS Partnerships

By focusing on NHS framework agreements, we are not just a private clinic—we are part of the wider effort to tackle the mental health crisis, reduce waiting times, and create sustainable pathways for care.

Our Guiding Principles

Holistic Care – blending medical, psychological, and social perspectives.
Collaboration – working with clients, families, schools, GPs, and NHS partners.
Accessibility – ensuring rapid, flexible, and nationwide support.
Quality & Trust – regulated, ethical, and evidence-based care at every step.

Looking Ahead

Minds Matter Clinic exists because too many people were left unheard. Today, we are proud to be part of the solution: delivering timely, compassionate mental health care that makes a real difference, while working with national partners to help reshape the future of mental health provision.

At Minds Matter Clinic, you are never just another case on a waiting list.
You are seen. You are heard. Your mind matters.
